11 things girls experience when they become one of the boys

This doesn’t mean that you don’t have any girl friends. It’s just that you prefer more boys to be your friends. Less hate. Less drama.

1. More fun, Less Drama
Guys are known to be flunky and stuffs. You won’t get bored whenever you are with them. Every minute will be filled with fun. Not to mention all the crazy stuffs you’ll do with them. Maybe a little drama will come when they are asking for love advices or if they are broken hearted, but hey, it’s not like it’ll happen every day.

2. You are their princess
You’ll be treated like their princess, right? right?! Wroooong! Haha! Maybe a bit true at some point but sometimes they will even forget you’re a girl and bully you.

3. You are safe with them
Whenever you are with them, you’ll feel like you have your own set of army. Your enemy, their enemy. No one can bully you, well, except them. Arggh.

4. They are too honest
They are too honest especially about their comments about girls. They’ll say they hate girls who are so demanding, those who wear crazy make ups, so maarte etc. They will even vent out about their GFs being so suspicious about almost everything. One day, you’ll hear them say, “look at 9 o’clock, sexy hot girl in pink panties”, and I was like, hellooo, I’m a girl too, remember?

5. They can be your slaves *evil laugh*
Since they’re too honest and trust you, you know many things about them. When you say many, you mean a lot. You know their uber duper secrets which can be used to blackmail them and make them do what you want. “I want pizza! Now!” and whoala, you got food.

6. Easy to deal with and talk to
If you request something they can give or do, they’ll definitely give it out to you. You want food? They will give it. You want mooore food? While saying “how many worms or snake do you have in your stomach”, still, they will buy you food and when you say, you still want food (especially you on the red days), you’ll still get the food but with the “the-f*ck-how’d-you-become-my-friend” look. Haha!

7. Got a shoulder to cry on
Not good with advices, but they are good at hearing you out. They will let you vent out. They will even let you punch them just to let all the shit life gave you go, will make you smile, and will make you feel you are a very special kind of…alien. Ugh.

8. You get bullied because they think it’s cute
They love bullying and irritating you because they find it really cute. It's really common with guys. Like, what the hell is wrong with you guys.

9. You are an alien
They don’t see you as a girl and neither as a boy. For them, you are an alien or a pokemon of special breed from a very far away planet.

10. What they do, you do
Since they don’t see you as a girl but as an alien, you are required to do all things they do. They jump, you jump. They eat exotic, you eat. You are forbidden to be maarte.

11. You probably use the word GG often
The names Mirana, Invoker, Rayleigh are familiar to you. If not, maybe you are familiar with the word GG, you are updated with NBA, know about ragnarok, final fantasy, play station and the likes. Basically, you are really being one of the boys.

I don’t know ‘bout you guys but I think the things I wrote are kind of negative? So, those are warnings. Hahaha! Just kidding! It’s a cool and funny thing though. So there ‘yah go, guys.

StreAt: Maginhawa Food Park Adventure

Hi, guys! Basically, this will be my very first post, ever. So please, please, please bear with me here. XD (Btw, you can follow me on ig:@dayandlc)

So here it goes…

I’ve actually heard about Maginhawa Street and about the food stores along it before but was not intrigued until I saw a lot of feeds about it in facebook, specifically The StreAt: Maginhawa Food Park. I got really curious and decided to check more about it.

Based on their instagram account (@streat_foodpark), the food park is open from 5pm onwards Tuesday – Sunday. I decided to pay a visit, of course, with my friends. And yeah, Saturday it is! We made it, thanks to Nokia’s here maps, but were a little bit late. Haha.

It’s pretty cool to see container vans turned into stalls and there are about 11 of them. The food park isn’t as big as I thought. There are few tables outside the stalls, others with umbrella to shade on, others really bare. Since it was raining before we got there, some of the chairs and tables are wet. So better be early guys and reserve seats!

Here's how the park looks when we got there, a bit crowded,
While the boys are patiently waiting to get a table, Ella and I made it to our first stop,

Our first stop: Magpie Cafe!

It’s a Korean coffee shop with a twist. We tried their best seller Korean Ice Cream. You can try it with a waffle or a bingsoo. We tried both. The waffle was okay but I’d go with Bingsoo. It’s a shaved Ice cream, a must try!
Second stop: The lost bread

The Lost bread with a theme of French toasts and milkshakes was what we’re eyeing next. It’s just sad that they accommodate customers by batch and there was a really long line waiting for their turn. So yeah, it’s a no, no but hey, will definitely try it first the next time we hang out there!

Third Stop: Bricks and Copper Turkish Cuisine

From the name itself, it won’t be hard to guess the theme, right? Anyway, our good friend, Gab, tried Pita Doner which he said was really good, thumbs up, especially for the hungry ones.  I forgot to take a picture first so when I remembered and he was about to bite, I grabbed it leaving him with a dinosaur look at his face. HAHA! Sorry!
Fourth Stop: Mexikombi

Mexikombi serves Mexican street food such as nachos, burritos and soft tacos. The name itself is from the words Mexican and Kombi, which is a vintage Volkswagen Kombi where the foods are served. All of us just wanted to try snacks which are light, not a very common dish, and will be a good food while hanging out and chit-chatting. We picked Nachos. And boy, it was good. 
Fifth Stop: Endless Summer Café

This café offers small bites dishes but the one that made us love this café was the buffalo wings. Our all time favourite. Two thumbs up for this. Not being exaggerated, their buffalo wings are really good. It’s cool that they gave us disposable hand gloves and eat with our hands without getting messy. We even had our second round. We chipped in and bought another one. Ella had a mistake of buying mixed spicy and original buffalo wings. Don’t get me wrong, the spicy ones are really good, it’s just that it was really spicy. When I mean spicy, it really is. XD
Next stop: Schmidt’s hotdog

From the name itself, they offer various hotdogs but it’s not what I tried there. What I bought was an iced tea. I made a mistake of buying the small one instead of 1 liter. So guys, if you’re going to buy iced tea there, it’s more sulit to buy the 1L. 
There are other food stalls that we didn’t try. Like the one that offers Filipino foods. It’s something I eat often so of course, it was less appealing. My brother tried a burger from one of the stalls but I forgot to take a picture and forgot to ask where he bought it. He was really really hungry at that time he finished the whole thing in few minutes. Grr.

So there yah go, our Streat food park adventure…

But before we go home, we tried this milkshake store in Maginhawa(not in the foodpark).
Our last stop: A Taste of Heaven MilkShake Hub
<
This store serves a THICK kind of milkshake. It was really, really thick. We were not even able to finish the whole thing though. The experience was okay but for me the flavours are not that exciting at all.
Definitely, the gang and I will be back for more food hunting experience at Maginhawa street. :)
